Following the three-week break to allow for the Isle of Man TT races, Gearlink Kawasaki are geared up to return to the track for round five of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport championship at Snetterton in Norfolk on Sunday.
Both riders, Chris Martin and Steven Neate are anxious to get their championship campaign back on course and are eager to jump aboard their Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6Rs and to pit their skills against all comers at the fast and challenging 1.952-mile Norfolk circuit.
Although his broken foot is not yet quite fully healed, Chris Martin is feeling a lot more comfortable and is keen to pay a further visit to the podium this weekend.
Steven Neate is also optimistic of his chances and he will be looking to improve his championship position with a strong result from Snetterton on Sunday.
Michael De Bidaph – Team Owner/ Manager During the three-week break from competition we at Gearlink Kawasaki have been busy trying to sort out various problems including the overheating of the engines. We hope to have made progress by the time we get to Snetterton. The Kawasaki Motors UK supported team is looking forward to a productive weekend.
Free practice and qualifying is on Friday and Saturday prior to the 18-lap Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport race due on track for a 3.40pm start.
