Steve Plater awarded debut TT win in Relentless Supersport one race. The TT organisers yesterday confirmed that New Zealand’s Bruce Anstey, originally the winner of the Relentless Supersport one race, was disqualified because of a technical breech of the homologation rules for Supersport machines.

The revised order sees Steve Plater confirmed as the new winner, with John McGuinness in second place and Scotland’s Keith Amor awarded the third place.

The organisers believe that the mistake in engine building was not a deliberate attempt to gain an advantage but simply a human error which under the rules results in the disqualification.
