The brand new Yamaha XT660Z Tenere has now arrived at authorised Yamaha dealerships. Initially available in limited quantities, customers will need to be quick off the mark to start their own Yamaha Adventure.
The latest incarnation of the legendary Tenere features a single cylinder four-stroke, fuel injected 660cc motor, delivering superb torque in a tough steel frame with a light weight aluminium swing arm. Allied to plush suspension and a 22 litre fuel tank, this all adds up to a versatile package which offers power, control and the ability to go the distance, whether commuting to work or traversing the deserts of Morocco.
In addition to its capabilities to tackle any terrain, the new Tenere is also equipped to handle any punishment thrown at it with tough, replaceable body and engine protection panels and a yolk mounted towing eye should the landscape get particularly ruthless.
When your adventure demands a little bit more, there is a range of Tenere accessories including aluminium side cases, headlight protector, skid plate and hand guards. In addition, customers will receive a factory two-year warranty and one year’s RAC cover.
