Husky young girls form Husky Chix Australian Team got another podium. Ashlea Bates hypnotized the audience with her riding skills and got the third position in Newry Victoria. Ashlea has been turning in some great performances of late, The girls in the team are focused on the podium and seems nobody can stop them. The third round of Motocross Australian Championship will be held on June 22 at Lakes NSW.
In a field of 21 riders including World Champion Katherine Prumm, Ashlea Bates put in a great display on a tough, demanding track layout, but she made hard work of it.
Ashlea got off to a bad start from the gate, but managed to recover to 7th position before the first corner. She managed to recover with a masterful display of riding to finish 5th in the opening race.
In race 2 Bates got a better start and managed to maintain a good consistent pace throughout bringing it home in 4th place and managing to achive a overall 3rd for the day.
