Joe Dickinson will start from the middle of the fourth row in P14 for round 4 of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport championship, scheduled for 18-laps of the Donington Park circuit on Monday 26th May.

Despite posting his fastest lap of the weekend during the first 40-minute qualifying session, Joe was unfortunate not to record a third row start ahead of the race. The field of competition has been strengthened this weekend with addition of four World Supersport wildcards. However, just three seconds split the top 25 qualifiers, producing a tight and tense grid ahead of race day.

With the weather forecast not looking promising for Bank Holiday Monday, the majority of the riders elected to perfect a wet-weather set-up during the wet afternoon qualifying. However, a great number of the field fell victim to the extremely slippery track, including Joe in the opening stages of the session.

Although un-hurt, Joe was unable to re-start the session as his bike was stranded out at the trackside, meaning he missed some valuable wet set-up time ahead of the forecast wet race conditions tomorrow.

The Spring Bank Holiday 18-lap Supersport spectacular is scheduled to blast off at 13.50 (26 May).

Joe Dickinson:

"We've made a bit of progress through free practice and qualifying but the times at the top have also improved. It looks like there's a strong chance the race will be wet tomorrow, which doesn't bother me but means I will need to get a good start."

Rob McElnea, Team Principal:

"Tomorrow's race will be a real lottery if it proves to be as wet as the second qualifying session was today. Joe had a small tip off in the slippery conditions in a session that was littered with incidents due to the very slippery conditions. We can only wait and see what happens tomorrow, to be honest we've got just as much chance as the next guy when it's like this."

Combined Qualifying Results:

1) Pitt (Honda)
2) Rea (Honda)
3) Richards (Truimph)
4) Kennaugh (Yamaha)
5) Brogan (Honda)
14) Joe Dickinson (Truck Links Yamaha)
