In occasion of this second Grand Prix of 2008, the KL Kawasaki Nastedo Team introduced their new squad to the press. The KL Kawasaki supported team, with KL being the Italian distributor for Kawasaki off road bikes, is headed by Italian Domenico Corbo and lines up multiple French Champion Maxime Testu and Italian young gun Marco Dondi. The team is based in Vicenza, in the North of Italy.
Both riders are onboard the Kawasaki SM 450F-R’s tuned by the Nastedo Group, headed by Mr. Corbo. The latter is a former road racer and aims at applying the bits of his road racing experience to SuperMoto.
After some wild card entries last season, now the KL Kawasaki Nastedo Team is ready to face its first full season in the FIM World series to be the first of many more to come.
