Sixth event for FIM MX3 World Championship is taking place in Spain this weekend. Home MX1 GP rider Jonathan Barragan Nevado got the pole position for tomorrow's race.

While Alvaro Lozano from KTM JM Racing Team is injured, Barragan will replace him at home event in Alhama de Murcia. He was competing here for many times and likes this race track.

Barragan explained:

"KTM Jacky Martens Team helps me a lot for this event. I had a good feeling today in Qualifying practice. I hope that tomorrow  evetything will be as we were planning and I wish to finish in top three.

Home rider Carlos Campano Jimenez did second fastest time. He was one of six Spanish riders in top ten. Javier Garcia Vico, the most experienced Spanish MX3 rider did the fifth time and tomorrow it will be his last event. Vico decided to finish his rich career."

Belgian rider Patrick Caps did very good time and finished third. Italian rider Cristian Beggi was fourth and his biggest rival for Championship leadership Sven Breugelmans was only fourteenth.

Home Spanish riders mixed up classification order to best MX3 riders and tomorrow it will be really a big battle for best positions.

Start practice Group 2: 9.40 – 9.45
