Bruce Wilson will be hoping for a race finish at Donington Park in the Metzeler National Superstock 600 class after being knocked from his machine in the previous round at Brands Hatch.
The Gipsey Bridge rider was following the pace car in the early stages of the race when another rider collided with him at Pilgrim’s Drop sending him flying to the ground and out of the race.
“We have had two non-finishes in a row and neither have been my fault,” said Bruce. “I had an engine failure at Oulton Park and then this collision at Brands so I am hoping to get my season on track at Donington with a decent finish under my belt,” said Wilson.
Free practice and qualifying take place over Saturday and Sunday prior to the 14-lap race scheduled for a start at 4.30pm on Monday.
