Seven times World Champion Valentino Rossi is back to winning ways and can’t wait to return to Donington Park for the bwin.com British Grand Prix on June 22.

The 29 year old Italian secured his first grand prix victory for eight races with a stunning victory in the Pramac Grand Prix of China on Sunday. The Fiat Yamaha rider returns to Donington in four races time for the eighth round of the MotoGP World Championship brimming with confidence about his Championship chances and the race at Donington.

“I love Donington Park and all my British fans make it more like a home grand prix,” said Rossi, who lies third in the World Championship behind Spaniards Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo. “After that first win of the year in China I feel I’m back in Championship contention at last. There have been four separate winners in the opening four races and it’s turning into a fantastic Championship.”

Rossi’s seven grand prix wins have come in the 125, 250, 500 and MotoGP classes, making him the most successful rider at the 2.500 mile Parkland circuit that has hosted the British Grand Prix since 1987.
