French rider Christophe Martin took the pole position at the FIM MX3 World Championship event in San Severino Marche, Italy. 48 riders were participating at the third event of the season. The weather conditions were changeable, from sunny to cloudy, windy weather and the air temperatures were only twelve degrees. But it was not a big problem for riders and Qualifying Practice was very interesting. Results were narrows. First ten riders were placed in one second.

The fastest MX3 rider was Christophe Martin with Husqvarna. He did only five laps. Afther five fast laps he crashed and he did not continue the Qualifying practice. But five laps were enough for pole position, so he keep the power for tomorow's race. The second fastest was home rider Cristian Beggi from Honda Martin racing team. Beggi is one of the biggest favourites before Italian race. He is covetous of the first podium this season.

Czech KTM rider Jan Zaremba has continuing his »number three« standings. He was third on the last event two weeks ago, and now he did the third fastest time in Qualifying practice. Zaremba is really in the good shape at the beginning of the season. Another Czech rider Martin Zerava with Honda was fourth.
