The range of Pirelli British Superbike Series tyres was developed at World Level in accordance with the 2007 World Superbike/Supersport Championship. Pirelli carries over 5500 tyres to service the BSB and BSS Championships over a race weekend, with 17 crew and tyre technicians and 2 race development managers on-site. All teams have access to the exact same tyre choices, there is no hierarchical tyre allocation structure in place. Team allocations can be swapped at any time to prove fairness across the Championships.
There are no different specification QUALIFYING TYRES across any Championship, teams will use tyres from their normal allocation.
