Kawasaki is pleased to announce the retail price of its much anticipated new 2008 Ninja 250R. The hottest entry level machine for this year will be available from Kawasaki franchised road bike dealers for just £3,299 on the road.

Lightweight handling, easy controllability, gutsy and smooth throttle response make the Ninja 250R fun to ride whether it’s on city streets or on twisty country roads. This model was developed to offer street sport performance to riders of all skill levels.

“The Ninja 250R is a very important entry level machine for franchised Kawasaki dealers and will help us to attract new riders to the brand,” commented Michael Johnstone, Kawasaki Motors UK Sales Manager. “We have had huge interest in this bike since it was first shown at the NEC Motorcycle Show at the end of last year. This machine reflects the styling of our bigger Ninja’s and we are sure will make a big impression on the next generation of Ninja riders.”

Powered by a water-cooled 249 cm3 parallel twin, this lightweight Ninja is loaded with rider friendly features such as a low seat height, low-effort controls and a comfortable riding position. From the aggressive full fairing and kicked up muffler to the racy dual seat, this is the most stylish bike in its category and comes in a choice of a moody ebony or evocative lime green livery. The Ninja 250R goes to show that good things really do come in small packages.
