Home Visit For Rizla Suzuki

The Rizla Suzuki British Superbike team spent yesterday (Wednesday 26th March) at its title sponsors head quarters in Bristol showing the production staff at Rizla what the race team is all about. 2007 Rookie of the Year Tom Sykes, two times Japanese Superbike Champion Atsushi Watanabe, and three times British Superbike Champion John Reynolds all attended the open day and spent time talking to the work force while signing numerous autographs.

Mattie Griffin, Ireland’s number one motorcycle stunt rider was also on hand putting his naked GSX-R600 through its paces for the benefit of the crowd.

Alison Williams Brand Manager for Rizla said: “The aim of this open day was to share the sponsorship with all of Imperial Tobacco employees. We wanted everyone to have fun, enjoy themselves and experience the team first hand.”

The event was extremely well attended and heralded a success by all who attended and were involved.

“The open day was a great success,” said Team Manager Jack Valentine. “It is good to see people getting so much out of a visit from our Rizla Suzuki team. We all enjoyed our day and I trust they did too.”
