On Tuesday, 19th June 2007 the quaint market town of Northallerton will play host to some of the top names in motorcycle racing when around 1000 fans are expected to converge on Club Amadeus for the annual North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club 'Night With The Stars' chat show.

Hosting such names in the past as Colin Edwards, Casey Stoner and Marco Melandri, this year it's the turn of the LCR Honda Team to make the trip North prior to the British Grand Prix with the experienced Spaniard Carlos Checa and his young British team mate Eugene Laverty taking centre stage along with team boss and ex 125cc GP winner Lucio Cecchinello .

But one of the biggest cheers of the night will be for the rider who over this past week has raised his tally to a mammoth 13 TT wins, John McGuinness, whereby in the process, the Lancastrian upped the lap record to over 130mph. Joining John on stage will be fellow TT stars Ian Hutchinson, who won his first TT race this year, and multiple podium finisher, Guy Martin.

Rounding off one of the best line ups in recent years, three stars of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship will be jetting back in from the Mondello Park round with Airwaves Ducati ace Leon Haslam being joined by rising Stobart Honda star Tom Sykes and the multiple British Champion Karl Harris who rides for the locally-based Hydrex Honda Team.

Hosted by Julian Ryder, Jack Burnicle and Northallerton's own 'Scoop' Carter, other celebrities in attendance will another Northallerton lad in the shape of  HRC’s Sporting Manager Chris Herring, British Supersport ace Dennis Hobbs, GP rider Dan Linfoot and other local riders including Paul Veazey, Jamie Ferguson and Darlington brothers Richie and Jonathan Harrison.

See the web site: www.nyrrsc.net for updates or phone Norman Bradley on 01423 780624.

Doors open 7.00pm / Showtime 8.00pm. Admission (on the door) is £8.00 (£5.00 for NYRRSC members.) NB James Toseland was originally scheduled to attend but due to a recent over-riding committment, has reluctantly had to cancel but he has promised to attend another NYRRSC Chat Show later in the year.
