Kawasaki Lightspeed rider Ricardo Chiarello scored again points for the Superstock 1000 FIM Championship, finishing as tenth at the Misano Adriatico circuit. PSG-1 rider Sacchetti did not finish after a stop and go penalty. The Italian rider of the Kawasaki Lightspeed team scored after a difficult race 6 points for the Championship. With a 6th position in the championship, Chiarello is confident for the coming races.

PSG-1 Kawasaki Corse Superstock rider Denis Sacchetti had to retire from the Misano race after being adjudged to have jump started, and then experiencing a braking issue after a stop/start penalty. He was confident of a good result and was moving through the field when Race Control pulled him in.

Denis Sacchetti: DNF - 27th Points, 8th Overall:

“I had a bad start and once had I passed other riders in front of me I saw that Race Direction had decided to stop me for a jump start. When I returned on track I had a problem with the brake arm. I'm not happy because the bike was perfect and because I know that I could finish in the first five positions. I hope for much from the Brno weekend. I want to have a positive experience, right from Friday onwards.”
