Hawk Kawasaki rider Carl Rennie debut appearance at the Ulster GP at the weekend was short lived after a fuel pump problem forced him to retire at the end of the first lap. Rennie was in a fantastic fourth place in the Superbike race at the time, which is unheard of for a Newcomer to tough Irish race.

Although the Hawk Team are disappointed they are extremely happy with the way Carl has conducted himself this season and they are looking forward to working very closely with him in 2007. He will next be riding the Hawk Kawasaki's at the 'Stars of Darley' race on 8th October.

The three Hawk British Superbike Riders, Craig Coxhell, Dean Thomas and Peter Hickman will all be competing this forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend at Cadwell Park, 26th - 28th August. With only three rounds now remaining in the Championship the trio are eager to tackle the spectacular mountain circuit.

After strong performances at Croft circuit a couple of weeks ago the three Dunlop-shod ZX10 riders are keen to put on another positive outing at the scenic 2.17-mile track. Always one of the biggest crowd drawing races on the calendar, this year will be no exception with biking fans coming from all over the country to witness some action packed racing.

Hawk rider Peter Hickman is looking forward to this round, the Willougby based rider commented "Cadwell is only a stone's throw away from where I live and it is also one of my favourite tracks. I got a great result at Croft, my best so far and I am hoping that I can better that this weekend. The team have been working very hard all year and it would be nice to get more points in the bag at Cadwell. I have a number of friends and family coming to support me so I hope I won't let them down!"
