Lightspeed Kawasaki’s 2007 signing Davide Giugliano (Lightspeed Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) will use his recent Vallelunga testing experiences as a springboard for the run-in to the last five races of the year, the first of which takes place at Brno this coming weekend. Giugliano, still only 17 years-old, will be looking to get back to the form which saw him a top six finisher at Donington Park in round three, but his first priority is simply to finish in the points at Brno, to kickstart his overall championship campaign once more.
Not being in one of the tyre development teams, Giugliano missed out on testing at Brno alongside the GIL Kawasaki last month, and thus he expects to have to put in some particularly intense work in the two days of practice and qualifying to place him in the upper echelons come raceday.
Giugliano has some good memories of Brno on a Kawasaki to add to his normally high level of motivation this particular weekend.
Davide Giugliano: “I like Brno a lot and last year I was competitive on a Lightspeed Kawasaki in the Superstock 600 class for most of the race last year. As a result I am feeling confident and know that we will be much stronger - especially as we will have the same tyre choice as everyone else for race weekend.”
