Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha heads to Oulton Park in Cheshire this Bank Holiday weekend (May 5 - 7), for round four of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. Renowned for being technically demanding, the picturesque 2.692mile circuit is famous for providing some thrilling race action.James Haydon will not be racing due to a shoulder injury sustained during a mountain bike crash this week. His untimely injury will definitely see him miss Oulton Park and looks set to keep him on the sidelines for round five at Snetterton. Team-mate Tommy Hill will be temporarily joined by Raceways Yamaha Superstock rider Hudson Kennaugh for the weekend onboard the Pirelli-shod Yamaha YZF-R1's in the Superbike class.

Supersport riders, Tom Grant and Billy McConnell have both been topping the timing sheets this season during practice and qualifying. After solid results for both riders at Silverstone, the pair are determined to convert their consistent pace into podiums this weekend. Tom is recovering well from a chipped bone in his ankle after a crash in practice at Silverstone. Billy took time out this week to join some of the country's leading motorsport racers at Cadwell Park. Billy gave the national press the chance to experience the thrill of Superbike racing first hand by riding pillion with him round the Lincolnshire track.

The Virgin Media Cup has jumped up a gear with James Webb returning to the championship at Silverstone. The Kent-based 17-year old claimed an impressive pole position over current Championship leader BJ Toal. Dominating the race, James went on to win and pick up 25 valuable points. However, BJ Toal extended his lead over Leon Morris in the Championship, and will remain on the black and yellow Pirelli Diablo Yamaha YZF-R6 on race day.

Rob McElnea, Team Principal:

"We are heading to Oulton Park with very high expectations, we have yet to really finish the whole weekend. We have proved through the test days that we have a package in both Superbike and Supersport to win races but as yet our race days have been disappointing. James's fitness has thrown another spanner in the works but this has given a fantastic opportunity to Hudson. Racing the Raceways Yamaha R1 in the Superstock series he has shown that he has the ability to run at the front, hopefully he can get used to our bike quickly!"

Practice gets underway on Saturday, with qualifying on Sunday leading into a packed race programme on Bank Holiday Monday.
