BSR-Aerotek, the fastener specialists, are giving away bar end assemblies! Manufactured from high quality UV-resistant anodised aluminium, these are an excellent way to tidy up a well-used machine or to add a dash of colour to a new bike. They are produced with either M6 or M8 threads, so they will fit most modern motorcycles. Inside each handle bar end is a rubber nut with a threaded brass insert that will expand when screwed in, to fix it in neatly and firmly in place. To complete the job the bar ends are supplied with a push button to cover the bolt head.
The different sizes are designed to fit either regular steel bars (M8 thread) or alloy ones (M6). As a rule of thumb, sports bikes tend to have alloy clip-on style handlebars, whereas conventional tubular bars are steel.
