This year three people have kindly offered to run the 26.2-miles of the London Marathon in aid of the CJ Riders Fund.

Kenny Gilbertson, who races in the National Superstock Championship in the UK, this season he is the official Kawasaki entry for 2008 on the new ZX10 F08. He is running several half marathons and 20-mile races on the run up to the Flora London Marathon, successfully completing his first run on the 13th January where he ran 21kms. Kenny’s entry means he has to raise £950 before he starts which was kindly donated by the company he works for. You can also pledge donations to Kenny on his Facebook site.

Harry Fielder, is the second person running for the Fund and he is a personal friend of the late Guy Sanders and heard about the CJ Fund, which is of course close to his heart. His entry means that he can run for whoever he wants and he very kindly selected the CJ Fund as he would like to do something special to help us.

Georgina Young is the third runner and contacted the Fund via the James Toseland website. Georgina has a place as a ‘Ballot Placed Runner’, which means there is no set amount she has to raise and she can run for whoever she wants to, as soon as her entry was confirmed she contacted the CJ Fund.

These three runners would be most grateful if you were to sponsor them for this gruelling challenge, a sponsorship form and pledge form can be found on www.cjnine.com under the News & Events section.
