Motorcycling has a new home in the East of England when Stamford Superbikes open the doors to their new purpose-built showroom in Peterborough for the first time on December 8. Whether it's new or used bikes, clothing, servicing, parts, tyre changing or rider training, the two-storey showroom contains something for riders of all types.

As a flagship Suzuki store, one of only three in the country, Stamford Superbikes stocks the entire exciting range of Suzuki on and off road motorcycles, as well as their competition quads and ATVs. Visitors to the 5000 sq-ft. showroom will be able to see over 100 examples of every UK model Suzuki produce, from the new 200mph Hayabusa to the championship winning motocross RM-Z450, holding examples of machines in every individual colour scheme and variant available.

The impressive, glass-fronted building is also home to a wide variety of rider equipment and massive selection of genuine and quality aftermarket accessories and tuning products, for all off-road machinery. The servicing and MoT bays are open six days a week and the fully stocked roll-in-roll-out tyre change facility is the only one in the area offering a one-hour turn around without the need to book ahead

Aside from the huge range of machinery and clothing to view, Stamford customers can relax with a hot or cold drink on the large sofa section, thumbing through the latest magazines or enjoying live racing shown from the giant plasma screens.

'There are too many bike shops now that are more like warehouses - rack 'em up and sell them quick', explains showroom boss Jeremy 'Jez' Murray   'That's not how we do things. Stamford Superbikes needs to be an environment where people want to come and don't feel pressured. We don't talk to customers only if we're trying to sell them something.'

Stamford Superbikes will be officially opened on Saturday December 8 by three-time British Superbike champion John Reynolds and Rizla Suzuki's Tom Sykes.
