When it comes to charity events the World Famous Ace Cafe always come up trumps! Offering an ideal location for a fundraising event, where hundreds and hundreds of bikers and non-bikers alike, can congregate to help raise funds for those in need. This evening there was a Bikini Bike Washing session organised by Bike HQ in aid of The Chris Jones Memorial.
Bike HQ is a free online classification website, where individuals can advertise their motorcycle / scooter for sale free of charge. The idea for the site came a few years ago because they were fed up paying over the odds every time they wanted to advertise their bikes.
This evening’s event was a great success with bikes being washed by the dozen by two very beautiful glamour models dressed in hot pants and skimpy cropped tops!
In association with Muc-Off (who supplied all of the cleaning materials), the Bike HQ team ensured that all of the bikes came up ‘spick and span’.
The fun packed evening saw the girls wash many sports bikes, supermotos, scooters and even a Metropolitan Police Motorcycle! Adding to the fun, the officer got the girls to wash over his helmet, although he probably should have taken it off first!
In response to the great demand from the female members of the audience a male member of the Bike HQ team wiped his top off and gave a bike a little scrub, although we all thought the girls were doing a much better job.
Personally as a very avid biker it was very entertaining watching a pair of girls getting stuck in for charity, opposed to watching an fella at the garage with an old rag!
