Vespa’s name is synonymous with style and their new GT helmet, based on the company’s Copter pilot-style helmet, is bound to be the popular choice for anyone riding a classic or retro scooter, such as the stylish Vespa GT or GTS models.

Combining the latest in Italian design and construction techniques to create a truly modern scooter helmet, this light helmet is a demi-jet design, with an adjustable bubble style visor. Vespa have added the neat retro touch of a broad webbing helmet strap, which creates the impression of a Grand Turismo style detachable visor.

The GT is handmade in Italy, partly covered and trimmed with textured leather sewn directly onto the shell using a special patented system. Made in two external sizes to give a more accurate, safer and comfortable fit, the shell itself is manufactured from thermoplastic material while inside is a comfortable hypoallergenic Dupont Terinda lining. It is fastened by a quick-release buckle for a quick getaway.

Tested and approved to ECE 22.05, five sizes are produced, from X-Small to X-Large, in a choice of colours - black, silver or alabaster (‘ivory’) - that complement the current range of Vespa scooters.

The Vespa GT helmet sells for £129.99 and because it is more compact than a full-face helmet it will fit into a wider variety of under-seat compartments found on most current scooters.

Available from Piaggio dealers nationwide or call 0117 972 5552 for more information.
