The original Weise Dynastar jacket was always going to be a tough act to follow and the new Dynastar II is one tough jacket. It’s manufactured from 100% DuPont Cordura®, which resists tears and abrasions like no other fabric of its kind. Ounce for ounce, Cordura® is 10 x more durable than canvas and twice as durable than standard nylon. Neither has Weise compromised when it comes to protection; the Dynastar II is fitted with genuine KNOXâ CE-approved protectors at the shoulders and elbows plus a CE-approved back-piece, too. YKK® zippers are used throughout the jacket to guarantee years of trouble free service.
However, it is in terms of weather protection that the Dynastar II shines. It’s equipped with a waterproof, windproof, breathable drop lining, enhanced by the unique WRS® (Water Release System), which allows water to escape from the base of the garment and ensures that the jacket does not become waterlogged. There are four external pockets, all of which are also waterproof.

Neoprene inner cuffs complement this and the collar is similarly lined with Neoprene. Reflective piping aids night-time visibility on the outside while a detachable sleeved thermal quilted lining keeps the wearer warm on the inside. Adjusting the Dynastar for a snug fit is simple, even with gloved hands, thanks to Velcroâ straps at the waist and upper arms.
