PSG-1 Kawasaki Corse rider Denis Sacchetti finisheds as fifth in the 15-lap Superstock race at Brands Hatch after an exciting race. Sacchetti had made a good start to the race, but a lack of rear traction and a tendency for the front to tuck under prevented him from following the front group of riders to challenge for a podium place. Sacchetti lost some time after almost losing the front at Clark Curve, but battled on to fend off Rocamora on the run to the line.

Denis Sacchetti: 5th - 45 Points, 6th Overall:

“I am not completely satisfied because I made a good start but when I tried to follow the leading riders' pace the rear started to spin and the front kept pushing. I had to pick up the front on my knee at the final corner on one lap and lost about three seconds as I recovered. By that time there was no chance for me to make up the gap to Corti, just in front of me. I am happy to have scored a top five and good points, and my target for the rest of the year is to finish every race at least in the top five, to make sure I finish in the top five overall.”
