Fitting a top case to a scooter can greatly increase carrying capacity, but that still leaves the question of how to transport the contents when you arrive at your destination. The Italians know a thing or two about making stylish bags (think Gucci or Prada) and Vespa have designed a top case inner bag for owners of the 200cc GT and 250cc GTS models.
Manufactured from a combination of genuine leather and heavy-duty cotton canvas, these bags are shaped to fit snugly into the 42L top case available for the Vespa GT & GTS scooters.
There are two zipped compartments, the lower of which measures 31.5 cm x 30.5cm x 7cm and has a padded base with retaining straps to accommodate a laptop computer. The upper compartment measures 18cm at the back and 7cm at the front for substantial extra carrying capacity.
At the front of the case is a padded leather carry handle and on the base is a wide adjustable webbing shoulder strap.
