Acumen describe their Cat1 as the ultimate Category 1 professionally fitted alarm.
The electronics are encapsulated in totally waterproof resin with an Intelligent Battery Sense™ 3-stage sleep mode based on battery state and time, so that the alarm only ever uses the minimum amount of battery power required. Owners can use the key fob transmitter to programme the alarm, including choosing from 14 user-definable siren tones, passive or active arming, hazard warning lights and even a turn signal reminder.
For additional peace of mind, an Acumen Platinum smart battery charger is included, which will monitor and maintain the bike’s battery – particularly useful if the machine is likely to be unused for weeks on end. Physical security is provided by the 1.5M KRäLL lock and chain, which is also Thatcham listed. The lock has a hardened chrome-molybdenum alloy steel shackle and the chain has 12mm hardened chrome-molybdenum alloy steel links.
The normal price for these three items, if purchased individually, would be £414.99. However, the winter bundle price is just £350.00 – a saving of £65, which is over 15% discount.
