New from Abus, the Granit Detecto brake disc lock combines state of the art mechanical locking technology with a sensitive alarm to deter would be thieves. Once the lock is closed, the position setting is automatically activated and any change of position of the bike sets off a deafening alarm.
Integrated into the high-grade steel lock body is the electronic alarm mechanism and the manipulation protected X Plus – lock cylinder. This hardened lock body and the special locking mechanism protect against the strongest attacks possible.
The Detecto is light and portable for easy use but for those who want to fix their bikes to a solid object then it can be easily combined with the Abus loop chain. One end of the chain is pulled through a steel ‘eye’ whilst the other end is locked into the brake disc lock on the bike. The Granit Detecto is suitable for most motorcycles and comes with a lighted key to aid opening and locking in the dark.
