British-Based Aussie Brendan Roberts has won the 2006 National Superstock Championship with three rounds to spare on his Crescent supplied Suzuki GSX-R1000 – and you can buy a near-identical Superstock Race Specification bike for the road for less than £10,000. Crescent – also home to the official Rizla Suzuki BSB and MotoGP teams - supplied Brendan with his Suzuki GSX-R1000 built to Superstock rules. Able to lap within a few seconds of full Superbike pace, Brendan has won six of the 10 races in the Championship so far this season.
Brendan, 21, from Grantham in Lincolnshire, said: “This season has been a dream come true for me and to win the Superstock Championship at Croft last weekend was just ace. The Crescent Superstock Race Specification road bike features the same modifications allowed under the Superstock rules – a replacement Ohlins rear shock, modified forks with Ohlins internals, a replacement Suzuki/Yoshimura tri-oval end can, a Power Commander and Goodridge Race Lines.
Each bike will be tuned in Crescent’s dyno facility to offer near identical performance to Brendan’s Championship winning bike. The Superstock Race Specification bike will cost £9999.
The only difference between Brendan’s racer and the road legal Crescent Superstock Race Specification bike is the absence of a competition fairing - but if you want to race, then Crescent can supply fairings starting from just £485.
