California Superbike School have now managed to squeeze one more UK date into their very hectic 2007 schedule, it is going to be on the 1st October at Silverstone, Stowe. Places are filling up very quickly, so please get booking now to save dissapointment. Yamaha R6 Hire bikes are Sold out for all the Level 1 spaces but are available for upper levels at £199 for the day.
2 Day Training Camps - Spain Oct 2007These two camps are very nearly sold out too and all the hire bike slots have been taken already.
- Jerez 15/16th October: £1,399 - 3 spaces with own bike
- Almeria 20th/21st October: £1,299 - 8 spaces with own bike
The 2 Day Camps are a very personal affair with a 2:1 student/coach ratio, video reviews and the off track bikes are all available. The courses are limited to 32 riders (2 groups of 16) with seven 30 minute track sessions each day.
Half board hotel accommodation for two nights is included in the cost as is lunch and refreshments at the track. Extra nights accommodation and partner packages are available. We have some students doing both camps and we have arranged hotel and transport with the CSS team inbetween events. Please email

Ferry Travel:- Available from
www.nutttravel.com. Ferry departs Holyhead - Dun Laoghaire 08.55 & 15.30. Returning Dun Laoghaire 11.10 & 18.00. Travel time is 1 hr 40 mins.
Cost: Bike & Rider £69 and pillion £10 extra.
Nutt Travel can also arrange ferries from Liverpool and Holyhead if you want to take a car & trailer or a van.

We are going to be taking our hire bikes for this school so if you would like to take advantage of just flying into Dublin airport and home again, we can hire you a 2007 Yamaha R6 for 199 per day (inc tyre and fuel usage) plus 500 refundable crash damage deposit.

Knox Dry - Inside base layer
As recommended by CSS Coaches. Dry inside - the cotton base layer that keeps you dry. A new innovation from Knox to keep riders dry and comfortable.
Cotton is the most comfortable fabric and feels good against the skin, but it absorbs moisture so it gets wet, cold and uncomfortable. Up to now riders have settled for man made polyester base layers but they snag easily, cling and can smell.
Knox Dry Inside is made from 97% soft cotton but unlike normal cotton it wicks the moisture away, leaving the rider feeling dry and comfortable.
The cotton combined with Schoeller 3 X Dry technology has a fantastic wicking capability but it`s secret is in the one way water path which means that once the water vapour or molecules have been pushed to the outside of the fabric they are not allowed back through. The garments are also treated with an antibacterial coating to avoid odours.
Knox base layer works in all conditions, keeping you dry in hot weather. CSS have tested these in extreme heat conditions in South Africa and Dubai and during wet weather in England and Sweden, where we found the material kept the wet out but also kept us completely dry inside!
