Vespa has created a range of Seventies-styled helmets to match their new S 125 retro scooter. The Europe helmet is produced in three eye-catching designs that are evocative of the decade that began with the excitement of Apollo13 and embraced style icons including the Vespa 50 Special scooter, Star Wars and T-Rex. The shell is manufactured from lightweight ABS material and weighs less than 1 KG, so is comfortable to wear and easy to carry. It is designed to fit into the storage compartments beneath the seats of Vespa scooters and its compact size means that it can be accommodated by many other makes too.
The high gloss shell has a satin chrome effect trim and eco leather side flaps for an authentic Seventies appearance. Inside is a luxurious anti-allergenic/anti-sweat lining by Dupont and the Europe is fastened by an easy-to-operate, quick-release buckle. Goggles can be purchased to give extra protection; these fit snugly into the helmet with two in-built clips and come in a selection of cool colours.
There are three designs to choose from; British Flag, RAF-style roundel and Italian Tricolour roundel.
