Dean Hemmings, sales Director at Infinity Motorcycles, has had many close shaves while racing 450cc bikes in the UK Southern Supermoto series, but on Friday 13th October he had his closest shave yet.
“My sister-in-law, Carol, is going through a very tough time with cancer,” explains Dean. “One of the things in common with most sufferers is that, as a result of the chemo, they lose their hair. I've got plenty of hair, in fact, some say far too much. So, as a way of raising money I agreed to join Carol in her 'hair loss' program and have a hair cut and shave too!”
Dean was hoping to raise £3,000 in support of Woking Hospice and the Macmillan nurses who have been instrumental in helping Carol. To date Dean has already beaten his target by 25% and anyone wishing to help him can make a donation quickly and easily on line at the justgiving link below.
