This Easter Sunday the Motorcycle Action Group Easter Egg Run took place in Glasgow with Scottoiler as the main sponsors of the event. The event brought together thousands of bikers from all over the world, with the turnout greatly exceeding that of last year. It is estimated that over ten thousand bikes were involved with over twenty thousand easter eggs being donated to the Yorkhill Hospital.
Donations to charity on the day exceeded £25,000 although the final total is expected to rise to over £30,000 once the remaining donations have been collected. A resounding success, plans are already underway for next years event which looks to be even bigger again. Watch this space for more info.
