Fabien Foret (Gil Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) has a simple goal to reach this weekend - secure second place in the championship for him, his team and Kawasaki. Currently Foret has a 15-point advantage over Broc Parkes, and four podium finishes to his credit, including a magnificent win at Phillip Island, in round two. Pere Riba (GIL Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) has been an important part in the team’s development of the new-for-2007 machine but at this race it will be a simple case of going for the best result possible, to finish the season with a flourish. Riba has scored no podiums in 2007, but earned a tremendous pole position at Donington way back in March.

Fabien Foret:

“I will try my best to keep at least these 15 points in Magny-Cours and we’ll see in the race itself. It is important for everyone in the team to finish second and it is always good to race at home. I am not a big fan of the layout of Magny-Cours, but it is my home circuit so I hope to get a lot of support. I will be doing my best to get a good result for the fans as well.”

Pere Riba:

“The final race will be an important one for all of us and as usual I will be trying to get myself into a good position in qualifying, and then in the race. Things have not been easy recently but if we can get the set-up working well, we could finish on a high point.”
