After winning the German MX title in the DM 125 class mid of September, Florent Richier of Kawasaki Elf Team Pfeil scored another great victory.

At the DM Open season’s last race event in Lugau, the 23-year old Frenchman completed his very successful year with another Championship win.

Richier dominated this class throughout the year with winning half of the heat races and never finishing less than fifth. His young teammate Filip Neugebauer (age 19) had been getting stronger and stronger during the season and finally finished as runner-up.

Team Manager Harald Pfeil was certainly very pleased with the outcome of the MX season - “There can’t be a better day to celebrate. My guys did a great job and they deserve the success. We escaped any injuries, received awesome stuff from Kawasaki and didn’t suffer any technical failures. Thanks a lot to all the people who made this triumph possible!”

More good news for next season - In between the 2 Championship titles, Kawasaki Elf Team Pfeil already got both riders to sign a new contract for 2008!
