March may be a long winter away, but the “race” to “track” down a personalised 08 registration will get underway this month with DVLA Personalised Registrations releasing its next number series to view from Monday November 12.
The timing gives potential buyers the opportunity to peruse the DVLA Personalised Registrations website and tailor their own combination of numbers and letters from the millions available - and see what they look like on a car or motorbike of their choice - before they go on sale on Tuesday December 4.
Damian Lawson, marketing manager for DVLA Personalised Registrations commented: “Our research suggests that as many as half our ‘08’ customers will purchase them to put on a new vehicle next March. We have also seen a big rise in the purchase of personalised registrations as gifts which is why we are making them available to buy early in December.”
08-series registrations can be viewed at DVLA Personalised Registrations’ official website,
www.dvlaregistrations.co.uk. Once a registration has been found, customers can call the DVLA Personalised Registrations sales line between 8am and 5pm on Tuesday, December 4, by dialling 0870 6000 142. Normal opening hours will resume thereafter; Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and Saturday, 9am to 1pm.
