UTAG™ is a simple yet innovative product developed by SAS soldiers to carry easily accessed important personal details in the event of an emergency.The unique and durable aluminium Dog Tag design houses state of the art software incorporated onto a sleek and stylish USB ‘stick’. The UTAG™ electronically stores photo ID, multiple emergency contact details, blood type, donor information, religion, key medical history and GP contact details. The software collates this information in a format that protects against identity fraud.
A unique language translation function enables essential medical information tobe accessed in any major European country when travelling outside of the UK. UTAG™ incorporates the international medical symbol of the snake and the staff into the design, and the letters ICE – meaning ‘in case of emergency’, that is fast becoming recognised as an emergency symbol.
The storage of important medical history could be vital to the quick and effective treatment delivered by emergency staff. If the patient is incapacitated, emergency personnel can immediately determine the correct course of treatment, especially if the UTAG™ wearer suffers from diabetes, is pregnant, suffers from any allergies, or is currently taking a prescribed course of medication.

UTAG™ received universal recognition throughout the motorcycle industry at itsinitial launch. It has received the full backing of the Chris Jones Fund, a charity recognised as the driving force behind providing additional safety equipment within British Motorcycle Sport.
