Trackstar-Racing will be fielding a new and exciting race team to compete in both the BSB Superbike and Superstock Championships on board the latest MV Agusta F4 1000R machines.

Chris Wells, team manager, commented “We are all privileged to be working with the MV Agusta machines in 2007, this is a long term relationship and we will follow MV Agusta's racing program to benefit the overall project. We have also decided to push forward the development of the MV Agusta Superbike as we have made huge progress over the past months working with machine and have established agreements with engineering companies to develop certain aspects of the bike.”

MV Agusta has a historical racing past second to none having won World Championships with the likes of Mike Hailwood, Phil Read and Giacomo Agostini. MV Agusta have won more than 75 Manufacturer and Rider championships, 200 Grand Prix races and had over 3,000 victories in various other disciplines worldwide. MV Agusta has now also established itself as a mass production company, producing models that are technically and stylistically innovative and exclusive.

“Trackstar-Racing is a new and exciting team to hit BSB. We've got great backing and have various celebrities involved from film, music and sport from across the world with one common interest “motorcycle racing“. Throughout the season we will see our partners and VIP members attend races, get photographed with the machines and trackside fans and also use the team in their own lifestyle stuff”. As our first “batch of photos” here are our West Ham United VIP members (Anton Ferdinand, Hayden Mullins and captain Nigel Reo-Coker) who couldn't wait to get to grips with the bikes.” added Stevedog, Trackstar-Racing's PR manager.

Nigel Reo-Coker, captain of West Ham United and England's U21squad said: “Footballers aren't allowed to ride Superbikes contractually, but it doesn't stop us watching them, if I was to own a superbike it would ONLY be an MV Agusta, just look at it!!!!!”

The team will consist of a 2 rider line-up to include Brian McCormack, 22 from Ireland, who has secured the Superbike seat having worked with Trackstar-Racing through the 2006 season and shown great potential in understanding and developing the machine whilst the Superstock rider will be confirmed later this month.

Trackstar-Racing is also planning to enter into various rounds of AMA Superbike and WorldSBK with Road Atlanta, Imola and Brands Hatch amongst their targeted races for 2007.
