The ISILON MSS Discovery Kawasaki team is launching a new text information service so all the team’s fans can get up-to-the-second information and news from their favourite team. In addition, as the season goes on the team will – in conjunction with team sponsors and partners – be introducing a number of exciting ‘TEXT TO WIN’ competitions where fans of the team can win anything from a pillion ride with Michael or Stuart, to signed kit, team clothing or VIP tickets to a Bennetts British Superbike meeting with the team!
All you have to do to sign up to the service is text Discovery to 82540. Texts cost 50p.
Michael Rutter: “Texting is something all of us do now, so what better way to keep in touch with what we’re doing than via a text service? I’m sure I’ll soon be going through some of my old kit to sign and giveaway for the text to win service and we’ll see if we can sort out a pillion in a million ride on my road-going Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, too!”
Stuart Easton:“This is just perfect for the race fan on the move. As well as how we’re doing each subscriber will find out the main results of each practice, qualifying session and race, meaning that even if they’re fans of another rider or team they’ll still get the information that they need. Add to this the competition prizes and I think the idea is a winner.”
Nick Morgan, Team Owner “Since we started out this season I’ve wanted to do a service for our fans such as this. I think it’s important as not everyone can get away to each and every round and even if they have the internet they may be out and about, shopping or with the family at weekends when we’re out racing. This service means that all our fans are just a text away from knowing what we’re doing and how we’re doing. We’ve also got some very exciting prizes lined up for when the service is established and these will only be for our extended team ‘family’ who subscribe to our text service.”
Stuart Simmonds, Joint Team Owner
“Friends of mine are forever asking me to text them results after a race, so that’s why I think this service will be very useful to both our fans and fans of motorcycle racing in general as wherever you are, you’ll get the information you want.”
