Practice for the Isle of Man TT races this afternoon was marred by an incident involving top sidecar pairing Dave Molyneux and Craig Hallam. Driver Molyneux, an 11-time TT winner and current lap-record holder, and passenger Hallam came to grief at the Rencullen section of the course.

Marshals reported the HM Plant Honda machine caught fire, with both racers helicoptered to the island's Noble's Hospital.
Early reports said Molyneux suffered arm injuries but Hallam was hospitalised only as a precaution.
