Stefan Nebel (Lightspeed Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) will start the final round of the year with a fine collection of bumps and bruises after a crash at Vallelunga, but safe in the knowledge that this could be his least challenging weekend so far.

Nebel was drafted into the team for his home race at Eurospeedway Lausitz in September, but had never ridden the ZX-6R before in WSS trim. Then at the most recent race at Vallelunga, he had experience of the bike but not the track. Now, he has experience of both machine and circuit, and intends to make good use of both.

Stefan Nebel:

“I rode in Superstock at Magny-Cours so I know the track and I know the Lightspeed Kawasaki quite well now. The only problem was the crash on oil at Vallelunga, but I will be ready to race, no matter what. I quite like the track layout and it should be a good meeting for us. I was running with the GIL guys at Vallelunga so that was good for my confidence, and the crash was just because of the unmarked oil.”
