MSS Discovery Kawasaki Racing are starting their new-era with an updated website which can be found at mssdiscoveryracing.com. 2007 is the beginning of an important transition for the MSS Discovery Kawasaki team. Not only are they the UK’s only officially supported team of Kawasaki Motors UK, but they also enter into the hotly-contested Superbike class with proven race winner and title front-runner Michael Rutter.
Rutter, 33, from Kirkby Mallory has finished runner-up twice in the series, and knows he has a fight on his hands to get competitive as just after Christmas, the MSS Discovery team have been working around the clock to get his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ready for the first race. This leaves them a little behind their title rivals development-wise, but the team has put in a huge amount of effort to ensure they arrive at this weekend’s Brands Hatch round in the best shape possible.
In the British Supersport class the team has a proven track record and to match this promise this year they start the season with 2002 champion Stuart Easton. The 23-year-old Scot is hungry to take the title on the four-cylinder green-machine.
This new era and the new website coincides with the introduction of ISILON SYSTEMS as joint title sponsor in the team.
