Vemar has produced a replica of the helmet worn by Dean Ellison, one of the few British riders in World Superbikes during the 2007 season. The distinctive design is an eye-catching twist on the British Union Jack and is sure to be a talking point wherever it’s worn.

The Ellison replica is produced to the highest standards in Vemar’s modern factory in Italy.

The shell is manufactured from TRICOM carbon/aramidic/fibreglass composite in sizes X-Small (53-54CM) to X-Large (61/62CM).

Sizes XS to Medium have a smaller external shell than sizes Large to XL, ensuring a more accurate and comfortable fit. This also contributes to the compact design, which helps to minimise wind resistance and reduce weight – at just 1390g it is light for a full-face helmet.

Adjustable vents on the chin-bar and crown, with exhausts on the rear of the shell, help to keep the wearer cool too.

The 2.2mm visor is full racing specification, with anti-fog/anti-scratch treatment and a quick-release mechanism that is protected with an FIA- inspired ‘safety catch’ to prevent it ‘popping off’ in a crash situation.

Inside the helmet is equally distinctive; with a bright tri-colour removable and washable lining that is treated with Antimicrobial Sanitized Protection so it will stay smelling as fresh as it looks. To ensure that the fit is maintained, the cheek pads are manufactured from polyurethane ‘memory’ foam that, unlike traditional foam padding, retains its shape, even after extended use.

The Vemar VSREV Ellison carries the ACU Gold Badge and is available priced at £199.99.
