After a 2006 season that proved to be one of the best in its rich history, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship blasts into action for 2007 on the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit this Easter Monday! Japan's Ryuichi Kiyonari will start the season as the man to beat, after clinching the 2006 title in a thrilling finale on the Brands GP circuit last October. As the first Japanese rider ever to win the BSB title, he has the honour of a nation to uphold, but the rest of the field will be doing their best to stop him!
Airwaves Ducati duo Leon Haslam and Gregorio Lavilla pushed Kiyo all the way to the final round last year, and both will be keen to bring the world's biggest domestic bike series back to the Italian marque. Meanwhile, World Superbike race winner Chris Walker makes a welcome return to the British series with Rizla Suzuki, aiming to finally clinch the title that has eluded him for so long!
The Easter meeting will provide three days of wall-to-wall action, with the pair of Superbike races being accompanied by Supersports, Superstocks, 125s and the Virgin Media Cup making it a true festival for all bike fans.
