The Third annual Royal Enfield Open Weekend has been brought forward to the weekend of 14th – 15th June for 2008.
Royal Enfield has moved its annual Open Weekend forward from its traditional dates at the end of July to mid-June.
Last year approximately 1,750 people visited the Watsonian-Squire factory in the Cotswolds, which has been the home of Royal Enfield in this country since 1999. Even bigger numbers are expected for 2008, following a record year for sales of new bikes for Royal Enfield, with UK registrations up 15% on the previous year.
The weekend provides visitors with an unrivalled opportunity to view the current range of motorcycles on offer, including UK-only specials, as well as the 2008 collection of genuine accessories. A fleet of demonstrator bikes is available throughout the weekend and there are sidecar rides and access to the historic sidecar factory too.
Home cooked refreshments will be on offer and much more besides, with proceeds from selected activities going to the County Air Ambulance Trust (over £400 was collected in 2007).
The Third Annual Royal Enfield Open Day will be on Sat/Sun 14/15 June 2008.
