The fifth round of the 2007 Bennetts British Superbike Championship takes place at Snetterton on 18/19/20 May, as the world's biggest domestic bike series shifts into overdrive! Gregorio Lavilla and Ryuichi Kiyonari took a win apiece at Oulton Park's thrilling Bank Holiday extravaganza, while Leon Haslam's pair of second places kept the English hero in touch with the leading duo. Shane 'Shakey' Byrne took his first podium for Stobart Honda and will be up with the leaders, while young guns Leon Camier and Jonathan Rea will be out to shake up the established order!
Super Speed Snetterton is one of the fastest circuits on the BSB calendar, and could well see the 1000cc Superbike monsters getting close to an incredible 200mph down the Revett Straight on race day! As many as 30 riders will be slipstreaming each other and jostling for position all around the circuit, with the Russell chicane perfect for some last-lap heroics!
Alongside the two BSB races, Supersport, Superstock and 125 races make for a stunning day of two-wheeled action, which includes a unique drag bike attempting to break 200mph from a standing start down the Revett Straight to take the outright Snetterton speed record! Good food, a great atmosphere and free parking add to what will be a superb day out for all the family.
For your bike racing fix, head down to Snetterton for some big British Superbike speed!
