Riding bikes in scorching summer temperatures has previously left riders feeling a little hot under the collar, however, since the launch of BMW Motorrad’s revolutionary new Airflow 3 Suit, uncomfortable summer riding has become a thing of the past.

BMW’s Airflow Rider Equipment range, which includes helmets, boots and gloves, have all been designed using Motorrad’s unique and innovative AirTex fabric, which produces an exceptional cooling effect when riding in hot conditions.

AirTex is a textile made of a resistant, light weight, net-like material which allows air to flow freely through it, keeping the rider cool whilst retaining the strength required to meet the high safety standards associated with BMW Motorrad’s Rider Equipment range.

For safety purposes, impact areas of the Airflow 3 suit are reinforced with the high-tech, abrasion-resistant material Dynatec which, whilst being tear-resistant and extremely robust, is also exceptionally light and flexible - perfect for summer riding kit.

Additional protection for the suit is provided by Motorrad’s adjustable, CE approved, NP protectors. The armour, which can be ‘adjusted to fit’ within the suit, moulds itself around the rider’s body for perfect comfort and safety. Reflective strips have also been added to the suit jacket to assist in rider recognition whilst riding in the dark.

The Airflow 3 suit has been cut in both men and ladies sizes and is available from all BMW Motorrad dealers, priced at £260 for the jacket and £200 for the trousers.
