There’s nothing more frustrating for a rider than getting a puncture or accidentally damaging a tyre in the infancy of its useable life. It’s not just the hassle, but the expense as well. But if consumers are fitted with one of Avon’s high performance motorcycle tyres, including the widely acclaimed STORM sports touring tyre, and the tyre becomes unserviceable as a result of an eligible adjustable condition, a replacement will be offered at no charge. It’s as simple as that.
No other motorcycle tyre manufacturer offers such a scheme. So why is Avon Tyres so generous? Because they believe their high-performance range of bike tyres are truly excellent and want like riders to have the chance to find that out for themselves too. And if that means replacing an unserviceable tyre for ‘no charge’, they think it’s a price worth paying.
For the Road Hazard Warranty to be valid, the tyre affected needs to be in the first 1mm of tread expended and riders will need a certificate of fitment. This will be endorsed by participating dealers on fitment of the tyres and acts as the warranty card. All the customer has to pay for is the fitting and balancing of the new tyre. Avon wants their riders to be covered, with no discrepancies.
