The ambitious Auto 66 Club makes a welcome return to Croft Circuit this weekend when the North Yorkshire track hosts found five of the popular Clubmans Challenge motorcycle road races this Saturday, 22nd April. With capacity grids expected in most classes, the regular Auto 66 riders will no doubt come under the auspices of the local track specialists meaning that the action is bound to be fast and furious around Yorkshire’s only permanent motorsport facility.

Rider’s to watch on Saturday include Darlington’s Stephan Degnan who scored a double victory in the last round aboard his 1000cc Suzuki in the Formula Clubman’s Pro Street class, as well as taking three podium placings in the 1300cc Open class and Martin Mitchell from Leeming Bar who also returned form the last round at Elvington Park with a haul of silverware from the same meeting.

Thirsk rider Peter Swales is expected to be a front runner in the Formula 400 class but it would be brave to bet against Driffield’s Shaun Brown who is expected to be a major challenger for honours on his 600cc Honda having taken a hat-trick of victories last time out in the Formula 600 category.

With all classes catered for during an action packed day including 125, 125GP, 400, 600, Formula Libre, Minitwins,1300 Open, F2 and Open Sidecars, the organisers plan to cram twenty-five races into proceedings meaning top value for money.

Practice gets underway at 9.30 on Saturday with racing starting at 10.45am and adult admission costs just £10.00 with accompanied children aged 15 and under admitted FREE.

Further information is available from Claire Jones at Croft Circuit on 01325 721815 or at the link below.
