On July 21 and 22, 2007 Dainese will be opening the doors for all its fans to celebrate and relive a story of success and innovation that all began 35 years ago. “Providing people with head-to-toe dynamic sports protection”. Research and development provide the “roadbed” on a journey begun way back in 1972 that has led to the consolidation of experience over the years in the perfection of a flexible and finely-articulated concept of safety Dainese wants to celebrate its 35th birthday together with its fans for two days in which anyone who wants will be able to take a close-up look at the history, labour, and research that have made the brand a landmark in providing people with protection.
From 9.30 Saturday morning, July 21, until 10 o’clock at night, Sunday 22, the team Vicenza West HQ. The guided tour will last around an hour and a half and take Dainese fans on a tour of all the Headquarters’ structures, including the innovative “Black Cube” logistics center and Showroom, touching on a number of themes ranging from history to current events and the company’s ideas for the future.
Visitors will be given the chance to admire the racing suits worn by the greatest World Motorcycle Racing heroes from Giacomo Agostini to Valentino Rossi along with the protective devices developed for other famous athletes like Kristian Ghedina, Aksel Svindal and the special Down Hill Mountain Bike Suit created for Philippe Perakis. The Showroom will also provide the opportunity for a sneak peak at the new collections of all the Dainese lines and the show will continue with the presentation in exclusive of the most important research projects currently being developed at the D-Tec (Dainese Technology Center) for the new definition of protection in the future.
The guided tour comes to an end in the D-Lounge, an area for relaxation where visitors will be able to kick back and watch the time trials and the US Grand Prix Race in Laguna Seca on Saturday and Sunday.
